About Bosian Li

I’m Bosian Li, the owner of bosianli.com.

Before becoming a full-time independent media and online business operator, I spent more than a decade working in securities and futures, in roles ranging from researcher and investment advisory work to proprietary trader and head of securities proprietary trading.

I later found my way into independent media. I have been interested in computers and information technology since childhood, and after a period of exploration and hands-on work, I gradually built websites and passive income models that could keep running. After 2022, I decided to leave the financial industry and work full-time in independent media and online businesses.

Over the years, I have worked with WordPress, information websites, databases, web programming, automation tools, and various online projects. With the arrival of AI, the way I work has begun changing significantly once again.

What I’m working on now

My main focus today is running websites, working with AI agents and automation tools, and developing games.

One direction that particularly interests me is breaking down work that previously required one person to do everything: the person defines the requirements, makes decisions, and checks the results, while AI agents handle research, implementation, testing, and revisions.

I am testing this way of working in practice, from WordPress management, data organization, and software development to game production and content publishing.

How I use AI

I see AI as a tool, and AI agents as participants that actually carry out work.

Rather than trying to master every detail myself, I place more emphasis on defining problems, expressing requirements, establishing rules, and judging whether the final results are correct. I actively embrace the most advanced cloud models and tools.

I believe much of our future work will gradually shift from “people using software” to “people directing AI agents, which then operate software and systems.”

Much of what I do now is also a way of adapting to that way of working ahead of time.

How this website operates today

bosianli.com itself is one example of how I use AI agents in practice.

At present, almost all of this website’s management and article publishing is handled through Codex, with very little manual operation.

I set the entire WordPress website folder as Codex’s working directory. When I need a new feature, I can describe what I want and have Codex read the existing code and modify the website. It can also directly read and write the MySQL database that stores the website’s data.

The way I write articles has changed too.

These days, I usually just jot down fragments of ideas from time to time on my phone or computer, then ask ChatGPT to organize them and fill out their structure. The result is a publishing work order packaged as a ZIP file that I can hand directly to Codex.

Codex then handles preparing the article, entering it into WordPress, assigning categories, setting the title and slug, and completing the other publishing steps.

By 2026, it felt as though I had almost instantly left behind many of the tedious website workflows I had accumulated over the previous seven years.

It is wonderful to live in the age of AI agents!

Oh, and of course, they need to be powered by high-end models!

OpenAI and Anthropic are undoubtedly companies making an enormous impact on this era.

About this website

bosianli.com is where I keep a record of these experiences.

Here, I preserve research that truly interests me, records of hands-on work, AI agent workflows, interview transcripts, and thoughts formed through actually using new tools.

Rather than chasing the news or compressing everything into a few short summaries, I want to preserve worthwhile details in full.

If any of this happens to be helpful to you too, so much the better.
